As every year, in the first week of December we organized a legal and tax seminar. This year’s event took place at the Nobel Tower Advanced Technology Center. The partner of the event was Sommerrey & Partners.
The first presentation was devoted to the analysis of non-obvious reasons for too low rates of service companies from the professional sector (lawyers, tax advisors, consulting agencies), which was analyzed by an expert in the field of law firm management.
The next block of issues was discussed by accounting experts and data reporting analysts in the Business Intelligence style, i.e. the use of artificial intelligence for the analysis and clear presentation of management data, on the basis of which the management of enterprises can make key management decisions. New technologies that can be used in accounting were also presented, i.e. IT solutions that improve the work of both accounting departments and entire enterprises thanks to the implementation of electronic circulation of invoices and documents.
An important issue, to which a large part of the conference was devoted, were the changes introduced in 2022 by the provisions of the so-called New Deal, i.e. reliefs that entrepreneurs will be able to take advantage of, and above all, the burdens that companies will be affected by. Specialists in the field of human resources and payroll discussed changes in the calculation of salaries and reliefs that can be used on the basis of the new regulations.
The last panel was devoted to discussing important procedural changes that should be implemented in enterprises under EU law, i.e. procedures related to counteracting money laundering and protection of whistleblowers. Issues in the field of cyber security and its growing role in companies were also discussed.
We would like to thank the participants and speakers for their participation in the conference and its preparation. We also encourage you to familiarize yourself with the coverage of the event in the form of a video available here.
